Voodoo Blue

Voodoo Blue was formed in 2002 with one purpose in mind – to pay homage to one of the most widely recognized guitar masters – Stevie Ray Vaughan. Together, with his band Double Trouble, Stevie electrified audiences the world over with their brand of rockin’ Texas blues. Unfortunately, Stevie was taken from us all too soon – a life unfinished, leaving fans from many generations, and all walks of life, wanting more.

In steps Voodoo Blue. With their dynamic show and professional presentation and execution, they carry us back in time and provide a glimpse of the gone, but not forgotten, musical legend. Stevie’s music and energy live on. In fact, this band takes great pride (and joy) in the sound they have managed to recreate. Many times, their performances have been mistaken for Stevie’s own recordings - so much so, that the similarities have been described by many as, “Eerie!”

After several great years, Voodoo Blue has honed their craft, appearing on bills with such musical luminaries as Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, Molly Hatchet, Jonny Lang, Jeff Healey, Johnny Winter, and the list goes on. Having played innumerable small clubs, major concert venues, stadiums, and speedways, Voodoo Blue is true to their original purpose.

Quite simply – offer fans what they have been longing to experience again, and expose a new crowd of listeners to the art and true musical genius of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Voodoo Blue does just that.

Experience the excitement for yourself at one of their amazing shows, and do your best to shake off the inevitable chills you get when you begin to think you’re still watching the Legend perform.
