Working in an oil field job he hated, Cody eventually saved up enough money to move in with some buddies and buy an acoustic guitar. He taught himself how to play it so he could party and entertain his friends with the songs he wrote about them.
Cody’s first ‘serious’ performance occurred when he was in a buddy’s wedding and realized he hadn’t thought to buy them a gift. He simply sat down and wrote a song for them, ‘Wedding Song’, and even performed if for them, moving the entire wedding party.
His first CD release, ‘Texas With A Little Soul’, was an acoustic and vocals only offering of which Cody wrote all the material. You won’t want to miss his second CD due out in early December.
